December 10 Random Acts of KindnessI've been thinking about and researching a cool way to share kindness stories with people using the web. I am tired of mainstream media focus of the worst of human behavior. I for one would hear about and share stories of human acts of kindness, love, support and inspiration. Well, I found a cool non profit site that does just that called Random Acts of kindness http://www.actsofkindness.org/index.asp So check it out and share your story and pass it on this holiday season. Maybe together we can help each other learn how connected we really are.
Happy Holidays!
Jose October 14 Oh Where, Oh Where Can My Customer Be?Oh Where, Oh Where Can My Customer Be? While seemingly simple, some of the most important questions you can ask yourself are about your customers. Who is my customer? How can I reach them? What are they looking for? What will bring them back? By asking these questions and finding out as much as you can about your customers, managing your affiliate program will be much easier. Affiliate marketing is like other channels of marketing – except in this case you only pay-for-performance. Not bad, right? Don’t you wish all of your marketing and customer outreach had this kind of return on investment? With affiliate marketing, you will be reaching your customers through a global sales force working on your behalf. This virtual group of talented publishers will be taking your creative and working their magic to get you as many leads and sales as possible. Remember, it is in their best interest, as they get paid a commission on each agreed upon action, so the better your relationship, the more they can do for you. October 13 Performance Based Marketing Industry SpecificsThe affiliate marketing industry is one of the leading ways to effectively and efficiently reach customers. Companies continue to invest in performance-based marketing tactics to drive sales. Two-thirds of the top 400 online retailers run at least one affiliate program. In a recent study by analyst group Forrester and Shop.org, 98 percent of all marketers participating in affiliate marketing rate it as "effective" or "very effective" in driving sales. Why? Performance-based marketing gets results. When combined with a comprehensive marketing program and branding effort, affiliate marketing can be one of the most effective ways to reach customers. Many marketers face the daily challenge of finding the best way to introduce their product or service with potential customers while simultaneously protecting their brand and keeping costs down. The choices seem endless. From radio to television to email to search to guerilla stunts, the end goal is the same – getting the message out to a target audience at the lowest price possible. My goal is to help you learn, innovate and build the most successful, profitable affiliate program possible. A publisher as an independent party that promotes the products or services of an advertiser in exchange for a commission on leads or sales. A publisher displays ads, text links, or product links on his Web site, in email campaigns, or in search listings and is paid a commission by the advertiser when a visitor takes a specific action, such as filling out a form, making a purchase or subscribing to a service. An advertiser, also known as a merchant or retailer, is a Web site or company that sells a product or service online, accepts payments and fulfills orders. Internet Performance based Sales and MarketingDear Friend, October 04 Mindful BloggingMay my words be true; May my words be just -- fair to all concerned; May my words be endearing; May my words be well-spoken -- may they bring no harm to me or to others. August 02 Embracing BuddhismOn May 1st I began a ninety-day period for deepening my Dharma practice with some members of my local Sangha. This program is helping to teach me to be more consistent in my daily meditation and more focused in my study of Dharma teaching that I should help provide a beneficial foundation for my daily practice and be able to bring more awareness into all the activities of my life. The 2 Books that I have found to be the most helpful, easiest to read, practice and understand are written by Bhante Gunaratana; "Mindfulness in Plain English" and "Eight Mindful steps to Happiness". I highly recommend both of these. Mindfulness in Plain English is a fantastic help in developing my Meditation Practice and Eight Mindful steps is helping me to develop an understanding of other Buddhist teachings and put them into a modern and personal context |
